Props to my associate shooter, Gardner, who rocked the lead role on this wedding. He and Kendyl came early, made a plan, and took it from start to finish. SO nice to be able to sit back, relax, and let the creativity flow!
The wedding was on Saturday – here are just a handful of pics to get you excited – (btw, LOVin Kendyl’s medium format sweetness)
Photography is so much fun!

Sooo, I told Mike to not hold back on the edit. I wanted it to be “EPIC” — I literally LOL’ed when I saw this.
Westminster Academy, a classical school here in Memphis, is doing an amazing job with the academics, but as you can see they have a lot of fun as well.
We’ve been able to do all of the video for their new site along with much of the photography. It’s been great getting to know all of the staff and faculty and we love being a part of the family.

So, we did Julie and Chad’s wedding this summer, Jimmy’s Senior portraits a few weeks ago, and we are doing Lexi’s dance studio pics (Studio B in Germantown) next summer – - – I guess they like what we’re doing for them ;-)
I love the fall season for family photography!

We had been rained out for two weeks so we HAD to just shoot this thing! So, by chance, I just happen to have a studio – lucky.
Our engagement photography is usually an excursion around downtown Memphis or out at a garden somewhere, and it’s a ton of fun. But, I have to tell you – I was really dig’n the studio session.
I’d love to hear what y’all think -
(oh, then it stopped raining and we had some of that really soft overcast light out in the parking lot – quite romantic, I know)

Emma and Aaron, you guys rock – you’re so much fun to be around and all of that personality comes through in your photography. Thanks for letting me share in your story.
Here’s little sample of the fun :-)

I LOVE Indian Weddings!!! The team and I had such a wonderful time with Abhi & Harpreet and their friends. Several locations and several days worth of events and ceremony’s – we are only a quarter of the way through the thousands of photos – but I wanted to give you a taste of the Indian flavor we have been marinating in over the last week (how’s that for imagery!)
I”ll post more later (especially of the CRAZY party), but enjoy this for now.
And, don’t forget to pre-register for the official posting of all of the photography on our proofing page >> PICTAGE

Favorite Get-Away Car EVER!!!

The Esplanade looked awesome!
After the morning ceremony I grabbed one of the 7 leaves that the couple stepped on symbolizing their life-journey ahead.

You guys were awesome! Thanks for giving us a little more time – the video of all of this is going to be so much fun!

The perfect ending to a perfect day. This was played for everyone at 10:45, just before the sparkler exit. It’s crazy trying to pull this off, but, WOW! It’s so worth it!

Awesomeness was oozing out everywhere I turned my camera thanks to Amy Miller, Classic Party Rentals, Moonshine Lighting, The Cadre Building, Deedra Stone, Corey Lewis, Menage Stationary and Gifts, and Southern Bride —

From the first meeting I knew that it would be interesting. Todd’s only interest in this whole ‘video thing’ stemmed solely from my agreement to make it a “little bit different” – mission accomplished. You’ll realize rather quickly that this isn’t your average wedding video.
So, let me first just thank Amy Miller for inviting us to document this insane wedding and for doing such a great job creating a lovely, albeit eventful, wedding. Corey McNabb, the photog, was great to work with – awesome pics. And of course, the Peabody, the room and the service was impeccable – always great to work with you guys.
Carolyn and Todd, it was so much fun! I’m glad to call you friends now and I hope this video encourages and blesses you for years to come.

The Center for Western Studies is an amazing program.
John Hodges, the director, asked us if we would help them to create a short video that would allow them to communicate the vision and purpose for the center. John was my professor in college and a great friend to my family over the last 10 years. I am honored to promote and be a part of this endeavor.
