We were all deeply honored to listen to Richard Sheirer, the Director of the Office of Emergency Management in NYC on that day 10 years ago. This morning he shared moving stories and images with a room full of people who, like 10 years ago, seemed to forget the day’s meetings and agendas and found themselves swept up in the emotion and significance of what happened. Richard and his team were heroes that day and in the days beyond – we are grateful for his bravery in the face of such terror and for his leadership through the recovery.
Through a donation in honor of their heroism, Johnny Pitts, on behalf of the Breakfast Club, showed our support for our Memphis Fire Dept. and the Memphis Fire Museum. We are so proud of our public servants and as always it is great to have them in attendance each month.
Here are some shots from the breakfast. As always, it was gorgeous! ”Thanks” to Jeremy, Allison and the Breakfast Club team & Angela Mazanti Events, Mahaffey Rentals, Heart and Soul Catering, and our host, The Memphis Botanic Gardens.
If you would like your individual shots with Mr. Sheirer, just contact us using the Contact button above – name + mailing address – and we will get it out to you.
